Current and prospective small business owners will soon have a chance to expand their entrepreneurial knowledge. Small Business Week, a collaboration between the TEDC, the Chamber, and several other local organizations, is set to take place the week of October 15th. Planned events include workshops on starting a small business, managing finances, and diversity awareness, to name a few. The Timmins Regional Economic Outlook 2012 (TREO) is also being incorporated into the festivities. Attendees will have plenty of time to network with their peers.
Small Business Week has been sponsored by the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) since 1979.
