Branding RFP released; other RFP’s being evaluated

Now that the community branding concept has been developed, the Branding project is entering its second phase. The Branding Committee has released a Request for Proposals (RFP) to hire a consulting firm to execute the community brand. This phase will include producing marketing materials, launching the brand in major online community portals and erecting new signage throughout the city.

All consulting firms interested in submitting a proposal for the brand implementation phase are invited to visit the City’s website and download the RFP. The final deadline for submissions is Monday, February 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., but consultants are encouraged to read the RFP for more instructions.

Meanwhile, the RFP’s for the Housing project and the Culture, Tourism and Recreation Master Plan have closed. Packages have been delivered so that committee members related to each project can evaluate the submissions. Both groups are expected to make their recommendations to Council around the middle of February.
