Community Leaders lead efforts to build local pride

Art Pultz, President of the Timmins Chamber of Commerce, encourages people to be proud of their community.

Things are changing in Timmins. As a result of the Timmins 2020 Strategic Plan process in 2011, the City and its partners are taking on 30 projects to improve arts, culture, recreation, infrastructure, business development, diversity, housing and dozens more initiatives that will make our city a better place to live. Many local businesses, community leaders and individual volunteers like Art Pultz, our Chamber of Commerce President, are working with the City to improve quality of life, build local pride, promote our community to others. Remember, things only improve when people decide to do something about them 🙂

If you’re interested in any of these projects and want to get involved –even if you just want to make some suggestions about how to make things better– please get in touch with the Timmins 2020 coordinators at info@timmins2020.ca
