Eventful week produces spectacular results

While the week is not quite over, Team 2020 is already seeing the results of this week’s events. The turnout for Timmins From the Heart on Tuesday evening was the perfect size for an intimate discussion of what makes Timmins special. The focus groups being held yesterday and today have also been producing some excellent feedback. All the feedback received from these events will be considered as the Branding Strategy team develops Timmins’s new sales pitch.

Representatives of Timmins 202o spoke to many residents yesterday evening at Welcome to Timmins Night. Those new to the project were interested in finding out what Timmins 2020 is, and their curiosity was piqued when they heard what projects are ongoing. As a result of this and other recent exposures, Timmins 2020 has seen an influx of comments and likes on its Facebook page, and visits to the website have spiked.

Team 2020 wants to stress that the strategic plan affects everyone that lives in Timmins, from youth to seniors, and it touches every facet of the community.
