Find out what’s happening at the TEDC
The Timmins Economic Development Corporation is one of the Timmins 2020 Strategic Plan partners. Their job is to promote economic diversification and pursue opportunities that will improve our quality of life. Many things they do are “behind the scenes” but have a huge impact on our economy here in Timmins. For example, they help recruit skilled workers from all over the world to move here and help meet local work shortages. They also manage programs to help them settle in. They also work on community development projects by accessing government funding to help pay for capital and infrastructure. That’s in addition to helping local entrepreneurs start new businesses, and working with established firms to export their products.
