The Housing Committee met on February 6 to evaluate the proposals submitted for Timmins’ planned Community Housing Study. The Request for Proposal that was released in December received a good number of responses. Committee members evaluated the submissions based on a number of criteria, including each firm’s relevant experience, proposed workplan and budget. The next step in the process will be to verify references.
A representative of the Housing Committee will present the committee’s recommendation to Council in February 2013. City Council will then make the final decision of which firm to hire to complete the Community Housing Study.
