Lively @Timmins2020 Twitter feed

With the launch of the Branding Strategy’s social media campaign, the @Timmins2020 twitter feed has become more dynamic and interactive. Over the past week, the consultants coordinating the development of Timmins’ Community Brand have been posting stories related to the city and its people. The purpose is to prompt conversation around these topics.

Every week, they will be posting stories based on themes. This past week’s theme was sports, with posts covering locals who have won recognition on all levels: provincially, nationally, and globally. Several people responded on Twitter, expressing opinions regarding the posts, and sharing additional info. The theme for the week of August 13th will be “Firsts and Starts.”

Timmins residents are invited to participate in the conversation on Twitter. Go to @Timmins2020 and follow us, and use #TBS to post your Timmins stories. If you don’t have a Twitter account, daily updates are also being posted to our Facebook page around noon hour. The consultants will be using the feedback they receive via social media as part of the development of Timmins’ brand story.
