Many residents being consulted to refine logo

Timmins residents have shown themselves to be very passionate about our community brand. That’s why a public workshop is being held on April 18 at 6 pm at the McIntyre Arena. Attendees of the workshop will be able to provide input to help refine the I’m In logo. The workshop facilitators will ask participants to provide their opinions on various graphic design concepts. They will also ask for input into the new community signage that will be posted throughout the community.

Even those with no graphic design experience can help! Residents are encouraged to review these helpful resources: Municipal Logo Design and Best Practices for Wayfinding Signage.

The public workshop is just one of several workshops to be held the week of April 15. The Branding Team is also arranging workshops with community leaders, students, and seniors. Dates are being added to the Events Calendar as they are confirmed. Information specifically about the community branding process will be available at Timminsareyouin.com.

Those who are unable to attend the workshops are encouraged to visit the Timmins 2020 Facebook page. Posts added during the weeks of April 8 and April 15 are all related to the branding process. Your feedback is appreciated.
