Recognizing Community Commitment

Art Pultz, past president of the Timmins Chamber of Commerce and general manager of Timmins’ KiSS 99.3/Q92, has been given two national awards for his volunteer service.

He recently won:

  • The Rogers Communcations’ Employee of the Year Award for his commitment to making Timmins a better place to do business.
  • The 2014 CEO Award, which is awarded by Rogers CEO Guy Laurence, for his outstanding achievements.

Over the years Pultz has demonstrated commitment to the Timmins business community by emceeing the annual Nova Business Excellence awards, being an advocate for Chamber members and also doing maintenance work in and around the Chamber Offices. Pultz’s dedication to serving his community is an inspiration and people like him make Timmins a better place to live, work, play, and invest!

A  $10,000 donation was given to the Chamber as part of Pultz’s award.  The money will be put towards the Business Takes the Lead program which is funding two new City entrance signs this year.  The donation represents 10% of the signage project.
