On November 19, the Cochrane District Social Planning Council (CDSPC) gathered for a strategic planning session. There was broad representation from board members as they developed a 3-year work plan. During the day-long session, they refined the CDSPC’s vision and mission, and conducted a SWOT analysis. Participants were highly engaged, developing a strong basis for a strategic plan to move the organization forward.
The CDSPC’s next step will be to establish a website for the organization. The website will contain information about what the CDSPC does, who its board members are, and what their plans are for social advocacy in Cochrane District over the next several years.
