The Timmins 2020 Steering Committee will be meeting tonight, April 2, to discuss the status of the plan. Representatives of several Timmins 2020 partners, including the Far Northeast Training Board, Cochrane District Social Planning Council and the Timmins Chamber of Commerce, will be on hand to report on their respective projects. The strategic plan coordinators will also provide updates on ongoing projects lead by the City of Timmins.
The projects up for discussion on the agenda include:
- Culture, Tourism and Recreation Master Plan
- Housing Strategy
- Branding
- Buy Local Campaign
- Youth Engagement
- Social Planning
- Aligning Skills with Demand
The Steering Committee will also discuss upcoming projects expected to launch in 2013. These include the Communications Campaign and the Community Calendar project.
