Mark your calendars! Timmins 2020 will be holding the Year 2 Update event on January 23, 2013 at the McIntyre Arena.
The Year 2 Update is taking place one year after the Official Launch Ceremony of Timmins 2020, which took place at the Timmins Native Friendship Centre in January 2012. Just over 60 people attended the event last year, and we hope to see even more attend this year. The event will serve as a celebration of Timmins 2020’s first year successes, and will showcase the projects that will be ongoing or beginning in 2013. The Branding Team will also be revealing the branding concept the community will, by then, have selected. Lastly, though certainly not least, we will be recognizing the volunteers that have put so much time and effort into getting Timmins 2020 projects off the ground and heading in the right direction.
The Year 2 Update will begin at 7:00pm on January 23, 2013 in the ballroom of the McIntyre Arena. Admission is free and the event is open to all Timmins residents.
