Quarterly T2020 update shows progress

On March 15, Team 2020 issued a quarterly update to demonstrate the progress being made on our 10-year strategic plan. Many of the projects are now complete, with some of them continuing on indefinitely. One of the signs we may be on the right track is Timmins’ most recent ranking on the MoneySense Places to Live list for 2013. Timmins moved up 27 places in 2013, from 131 to 104 out of 201 cities evaluated. While still behind Sudbury (rank #70) Timmins scores ahead of Thunder Bay, Sault Ste Marie, North Bay and Temiskaming Shores in terms of quality of life, economic situation and disposable income. We will always have room to improve, but we are moving in the right direction! To the many partners who are helping the City of Timmins implement this plan – THANK YOU! What we’re doing is working!
