A chance for residents to have their say

Tonight, September 11, is the much anticipated Timmins From the Heart event, and many residents will be taking advantage of the opportunity to provide their input. Members of the Timmins Branding Strategy team will be facilitating the event, and will ask residents to share what they feel makes Timmins special. The feedback received will help develop a sales pitch for Timmins. The sales pitch, in turn, will help attract workers, tourists, investors and new residents to Timmins. The event begins at 6:30pm at the Timmins Museum National Exhibition Centre on Second Avenue (across from the Timmins Public Library).

Representatives of Timmins 2020 will also be at Welcome to Timmins Night tomorrow evening, September 12, at the McIntyre Arena. Stop by the booth for free goodies and the opportunity to share your thoughts on any of Timmins 2020’s projects.
