The Year 2 Update event is taking shape! The event will take place on January 23, 2013 in the McIntyre Arena ballroom. RSVP’s are beginning to roll in, with the hope that we can top last year’s Timmins 2020 Official Launch Ceremony attendance. All community members of Timmins are welcome to participate in this celebration and information session.
As part of the festivities, Mayor Tom Laughren will outline the progress the community has made with each project in 2012. He will also explain what to expect from ongoing and upcoming projects in 2013. The updates will include an overview of the new branding concept for Timmins. Last, but certainly not least, nearly 100 volunteers will be recognized for the contributions they’ve made to Timmins 2020 since its launch in 2012.
There will be time for attendees to network with other community members while enjoying light refreshments. Come and show your support for Timmins 2020 and for your community at the Year 2 Update on January 23, 2013 at the McIntyre Arena!
