Event recognizes volunteers, reveals brand to public

For the past two months, community members have been encouraged to attend the Year 2 Update on Wednesday, January 23 at 7:00pm in the McIntyre Arena ballroom. Today is their chance to attend.  Attendees will be able to get up-to-date on all Timmins 2020 projects, as well as enjoy a volunteer recognition ceremony. Nearly 100 people who have helped make Timmins 2020’s first year a success are being recognized.

In addition, for the past six months, the Branding Team has been working to develop a branding concept for Timmins that identifies our community’s unique strengths and stories. With in input of approximately 500 residents, the concept has been fully developed. Community members saw a preview of the new branding concept for Timmins last month when Glen Loo, Principal with St. Clements Group, made a presentation to City Council. Now, the Branding Team is making a public presentation of the branding concept during the Year 2 Update tonight, January 23, in the McIntyre Arena ballroom. The branding committee coordinator will be making the presentation on behalf of the Branding Team.

Come tonight and show your support for your community and fellow community members! The Year 2 Update is open to all: admission is free and light refreshments will be provided.
