The Mayor’s Holiday Coffee Connection with college and university students saw over 40 students gather at City Hall on December 23rd to hear what’s been happening in Timmins and what the City has to offer them when they graduate.
The gathering was organized by the Timmins Economic Development Corporation, the Timmins 2020 Committee, the Timmins Family YMCA, the Timmins Chamber of Commerce, and Tourism Timmins. The students received information from the organizing partners, chatted with the Mayor and community representatives, and had a chance to win an an iPad or an iPod, donated by Kidd Operations.
The session, the first of its kind for the City, was so successful that organizers hope to make it an annual event.
