This weekend is promising to be an exciting one in Timmins! Between the TH&VS homecoming running all weekend long, the centennial celebrations in the park, and various other activities for you and your family to enjoy, there’s no end to the fun things to do in Timmins. The Timmins 2020 team hopes everyone has a very safe and happy long weekend!
Next week, there will be many updates regarding Timmins 2020. The Branding Strategy will take another step forwards as the consultants coordinating the Timmins community brand will be conducting more interviews and meeting with the Branding Committee. They will also begin their social media campaign on Tuesday, August 7th, so look for their updates on Facebook and Twitter every day around noon. We want as many people as possible getting involved in the discussion around Timmins’ unique perspectives and stories.
The next Local Confidence interview will also be posted next week. This time, Jessica sat down with Timmins Airport Manager Dave Dayment with more information about the changes taking place at the airport, as well as some insights into the airport’s operations you may not have already known.
