As summer winds to a close, there’s one big summer event left that Timmins 2020 did not want to miss: The Great Canadian Kayak Challenge and Festival. Members of Team 2020 will be set up at the event this weekend, available to answer questions and talk about the future of Timmins. They look forward to sharing the successes of Timmins 2020, and to hearing feedback on areas of improvement. There will also be gifts available for visitors to take back with them to home or work. The festival is taking place throughout the weekend of August 24th at the Mountjoy Historical Conservation Area Park on Riverside.
Timmins 2020 will be also be present at Welcome to Timmins Night on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. While the event is geared towards newcomers, showcasing all of the available services in Timmins, it promises to be a fun night for all. Everyone is invited to visit Timmins 2020 at the MacIntyre Arena on Welcome to Timmins Night.
